DIGOS CITY is a suburban city located in the province of Davao del Sur. It is less than an hour drive from the City of Davao and the trip will pass beside the foothills of Mount Apo and along some scenic beach views. It lies on the eastern shores of the Davao Gulf and is also known as the mango city of the Philippines.

It is best to drive from Davao City for one to enjoy the beautiful views of the trip. About halfway of the trip, you will pass through a town called Santa Cruz. Here you will find a string of restaurants along the shores of the Davao Gulf. They serve delicious tuna dishes such as grilled tuna's tail and tuna's jaw. They also serve exotic tuna dishes like grilled bagaybay and bihod, a must-try Filipino dish.
