Las Pinas (Piñas) City, the Home of the World's Only Bamboo Organ

Las Pinas (Piñas) City

is one of Metro Manila's 16 cities. It is probably one of the busiest cities during rush hour, that is around 7-10am in the morning and around 5-8pm at night. I know because I used to take this route to get to one of my relatives, amongst the few on my mother side of the family. When I am in metro Manila, This is where I would usually stay on the early parts of my trip as well as just before I go back home because, it is closest to the airport, I get a few nights of free lodging, and I get to spend time with family. It's a great deal, don't you think? :)



The city is famous for its Bamboo Organ which is located in St. Joseph Church. The organ is made out of bamboo, wood, and metal creating a unique and rare sound. It is the only organ of its kind in the world and a must-see for tourists.

The city is also known for its jeepney factory, Sarao Motors. The jeepney is assembled piece by piece and is world famous for its unique design and intricate decors.

The city is also known as one of the cleanest cities in Metro Manila .
